Beijing Hong'an Xiangyu Information Technology Co., Ltd. is the first national high-tech enterprise in China to engage in the research and development of iris recognition technology and large-scale application promotion. Since the establishment of the R&D team in 1997, over 20 years of experience in the iris recognition industry have given the company confidence and fruitful results. The company has over 80 independent intellectual property products and recognition algorithms, 6 national invention patents related to iris recognition technology, 9 utility model invention patents for iris recognition technology, 10 product appearance patents, and 23 sets of industry system platform software. In 2015, the company established the China Iris Public Welfare Fund, which is the only government funded iris recognition foundation in China aimed at serving society and assisting the disconnected population. There are 32 local love workstations in China, with nearly 4000 love volunteers participating. In October 2019, a joint laboratory for "multimodal remote dynamic iris recognition" was established with Beijing Police Academy, and the company became the master's and doctoral practice base for biometric technology at the academy; The establishment of a laboratory aims to promote the application of remote dynamic iris recognition in the field of public safety, which is currently only owned by companies worldwide; In 2022, the mining intrinsic safety iris recognition machine passed coal safety certification and obtained corresponding certificates.
